Day 118: Seeds

Was the chipmunk trying to leave me a message?! I see a "J", an "E", and some hearts. Hmmmm Hahaha

Day 117: Spring Sing!!

Today was Kwintyn's spring sing! He fell asleep after school, and so when it came time to get around we woke him up. Was torture! Pure torture! I swear we could negotiate with a criminal easier than we did with Kwin. He did not want to go, he was having a melt down. Was just fantastic! Finally, he was ok with it.....10 minutes before we had to be there. So we quickly got him around, and left. It took a damn happy meal to get him to go. Sheesh! He did a great job, and participated, and looked so cute up there. He did admit later that night he had fun, and was glad he went. Oiy!! This child is the one that is gonna give me a heart attack some day. hahaha

Day 116: Dragged through the dirt

Another doctors appointment today, and another day with not answers. I went to a Neuromuscular doctor today, I wanted to cancel because I knew I wouldn't get anywhere, but I was desperate, and held on to a little more hope. I just need to vent today. We waited int he room longer than he assessed me. He only checked my joints and reflexes. I asked questions, Why am I so shaky all the time? I told him a few symptoms, but all got brushed aside. I asked to be tested for connective tissue diseases, EDS to be more specific. He quickly dismissed that, and said it's highly unlikely because EDS has certain physical characteristics, and I don't have any. (I knew he was thinking of the vascular type, there are 6, types of EDS) I mentioned that in my reading it was said that people with EDS look healthy, and have normal test results. I told him 2, of my kids show symptoms when he asked if any other family members had similar issues. I told him that EDS often gets diagnosed as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, or Fibromyalgia, but it all got dismissed. He sat there with this smug look on his face, like amuse me some more. After I was done talking he would say, Mmmm hmmm......I can read body language, and his you are wrong, and have no idea what you are talking about. My visit was short, 15-20 minutes max. I would expect that kind of visit at the walk in clinic. I did a no-no, and broke down, and knew our visit was over. Doctors don't like it when you break down, its shows your just weak, and a basket case with issues. I apologized for breaking down, told him it just effects my daily life, as well as my families. I thanked him for his time. Not sure if he felt sorry for me, or what but he says, Well we can do a biopsy to see if you have it, but I don't think it will be positive. Told me to go see Dr. S, and get the biopsy done, and he will send him some notes. Great!! That is all I wanted!! This is the Dr. I wanted to test me for EDS, to make my freaking head happy!!! Just want to rule this out, that is all. It's rough when doctors think you are just manifesting this pain because you are depressed. I'll gladly go to a psychologist to have my mental health evaluated. I have been called a hypochondriac by family. Sometimes you start to believe, Is it all in my head? I try not to talk, or complain about my illness to others because I fear I will be judged by them. It's hard to get people to understand what you are going through when you don't even know whats going on, and every single test that has been done comes out normal, with a few factors off. I just feel like there is more going on than it just being Fibromyalgia, or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I feel that some symptoms have gotten worse, especially my eyes, and the shaking. I can't do anything strenuous without getting really shaky, out of breath, and lightheaded. My legs feel numb/tingly/heavy, and I am still having a reaction to the sun. Found that out when I sat outside for a bit, and my legs started burning. Go inside, and yep, my legs reacted to the sun again. I just wish that one doctor could just look at everything as a whole, instead of what they specialize in. Not a single doctor has looked at it as a whole, I get the whole specialist thing, too, but damn. Just look at it!! Who ever thinks playing sick is fun, is full of shit. It's so easy to play sick, it's the playing well that is hard. You can never do anything when you are sick, so why play?! You get more out of life being productive, and going out and doing things. I want to do things!!! This has been such a frustrating processes.

A heart is just what I needed on a day like today.

Day 115: Spring is here!

Was a beautiful day today! Spring is springing up here, and I am loving it. It's been so nice to go sit outside. We have a chipmunk back? Not sure if it's a new one, or an old one. LOL But she's friendly. Chelsea wants to name her, Star. We have chickadee's, and some other birds, finch's maybe? I don't know, I need a bird book. We do have pigeon that has been stopping by. Last year we had two, I named this one, Pete. We also have the little red squirrel that comes around. He looks like trouble, and you can sit a foot away & he will sit and eat his seeds, and peanuts. Hahaha! I got a video of him taking one peanut at a time, and then he would go stash it somewhere, come back, take another, go stash it. Was funny. Well I thought so.

Day 114: When I follow my heart it leads me to....

Kwintyn found a heart today outside! What a good find, I needed a pic of the day. had a grinder for dinner, and found a heart in my bite of food. What a happy heart day!

Day 113: Tree Of Love

Today is Earth Day, and what do I find?! I have looked at this tree everyday for years, and have never noticed this heart in the tree until today! Not the best picture since I had to stretch up to get it, it was kinda high up there, plus I shake so bad now. I'm upset with myself because I over did things yesterday. It upsets me so much because I use to be able to do things like this all day long. Now I can't so squat. Hell, I can't even squat! Hahaha! I transplanted a few flowers today, and ended up in more pain than I already was. My legs were shaking so bad, I was breathless, and lightheaded. Later that evening I was feeling horrible. My hands ached so bad, and so did my body. And that stupid rash came back again. I was sitting outside, enjoying the sunshine, and coffee. Everything was peaceful, until I started feeling this burring in my legs. I knew what it was. Went inside, and yep, its back. Livedo reticularis. My legs & skin always looked mottled, and the cold will bring this on, but will be more of a purple color. This is what happens when they are exposed to the sun, and I was only out there for an hour.

Day 112: Good-Bye, April the Giraffe

Aww!! AAP is taking the giraffe cam down today. I'm a little sad. :( I missed the birth, I was sleeping. I kinda figured I would be sleeping, and would miss it. LOL I have been tuned in since the beginning of March, watching, and waiting for April to have her calf. I fell in love with April, and Oliver, and of course the new baby when he finally arrived. I was sad to see the cam go because it kinda got in to my routine. My computer screen always had April up and running, and would pop in though out the day to watch, but was mainly a night watcher. I would watch her when I couldn't sleep, and it worked every time. Now, I find myself looking at my computer screen and my word of the day is my screen saver again.

Day 111: Zero, Zip, Zilch

I got nothing today. I guess that's better than the last month. I forgot a lot of pictures then. LOL

Day 110: Circus

Well, had plans of taking the kids to the circus today. Kwintyn came home with 2, free kid passes for the circus, and Frank was going to take the kids. He gets up there and they tell him they need a paying adult per kids pass. He only took $20 with him since that was what an adult ticket cost. He was going to go up to the ATM and get some money out, but the kids said they wanted ice cream instead. I thought it was a bunch of BS!! What if you are a single parent?! Or a grandparent that takes their grandkids?! Frank took them to the park, too. He got pictures but for some reason they didn't upload for me.

Day 109: The Other White Meat

Pork, that is! A hearty meat chunk! Porkchops, taters, and fresh green beans for dinner tonight.

Day 108: The Voice

Been watching The Voice, and this is my first time voting. I am rooting for Lauren Duski!! This girl is from my town!! She grew up in Gaylord, and the town has shown her so much love & support!! Her parents have a dental office here in Gaylord as well. It's so cool that a person from our town has made it on a top TV show, although she isn't the first local celebrity we have had. So, of course I gotta stick with the hometown girl!!

Day 107: Happy Easter!!

Didn't have big plans for today. So we bummed around for the morning, and the kids found their Easter baskets. We then got around, and headed to town, and went and visited Grandma & Grandpa. We then took the kids to Ponderosa for dinner. It was nice to get out, and not have to cook. Wanted to go fly kites but there wasn't much wind that day.

Day 106: Oops!!

Oops! Forgot all about a picture today. I forgot my camera at home so that didn't help. We went to my Mother in Law's for Easter.

Day 105: I like boring things....and You!

Date night with my husband, so that means, grocery shopping....ugh! Later that evening Kwintyn told me to come to the bathroom....I get there and he said, Look a soap heart! He made me take a picture. LOL He knows I love finding hearts!

Day 104: Good Morning!!

Making hash browns this morning for breakfast, and spotted a heart in my hash brown. As I flipped it and it was done cooking, I saw the other side had a heart, too!

Day 103: Burning Love!

Spotted a heart on my oil burner today. Love this thing!

Day 102: Cackle Spackle!

Got to try my one of my posh samples today! I tried the cackle spackle mask, that is a detoxing mask. It smells minty fresh, kinda like toothpaste. Makes your face a little tingly, too.

Day 101: Well, that didn't hurt as bad.

This makes the colonoscopy less painful, it was free!! So glad I didn't need a jar of vaseline for this bill! Hahahahaha!!! The Endoscope however....not free. LOL!!!

Day 100: OnE hUnDrEd DaYs!!

Well, I made it 100 days......even if I was late posting, I still made 100 days!! Whoop! And I got to spend it downstate with people I love. We stopped at my Dad's before leaving & I took a picture of his pups. He just got a new one, and I had to show the kids, and Frank. Meet Dutchess, she's the new one, and then there's Lily. Love his pups!

Day 99: Surprise, Mom!!

My Sister, and I, surprised my Mom today. My Aunt Su planned this whole thing! She had it planned that her, and my Mom would go out for the day. But she knew something was up when family started arriving at this restaurant they were at, Clara's by the River, was an old train station, and was just beautiful. She thought that was nice, and they ate lunch and all, my sister, and I were running a bit late. We called my Aunt, and told her we finally arrived. Uncle Charlie met us a t the door, and got talking to Mom to block her view of us coming in. My Aunt Su announces to her, You're surprise gift has just arrived!! The look on her face was priceless!! She instantly teared up, and was SO shocked! She was so happy to see us, and it was nice to see her. I just can't believe my Mom is 60 years old! That is a blessing I am truly thankful for!! Love you, Mom!! Glad we could make you're 60th a special one.

Day 98: Samples!!

Who doesn't like to get samples?! Can't wait to try these perfectly posh samples!

Day 97: Beautiful Sunset

What a beautiful sunset! You know it's a beauty when tons of pictures are posted on Facebook, about the beautiful sky. <3 Just gorgeous!

Day 96: Murphy's Oil Heart

Just bought some Murphy's oil soap, and had it sitting on the counter, and this glow caught my eye. It was a heart!

Day 95: Selfie

Just a selfie kinda day. :)

Day 94: Tater Tots!

Found a heart shape on a tater tot today. Keagan made dinner tonight, burgers, & tater tots. <3

Day 93: B-E-A-U-ti-ful Day!

Was so nice out today! Got some cleaning done inside, and some raking down outside. Kids were loving it!! All wearing shorts, thinking it's Summer. I guess when it's 63 degrees, it is like Summer to kids who live in Northern Michigan, and it's the beginning of April!! Kwintyn also pointed out a heart shape on his flip-flop. The kids get just as excited as I do when they find one.

Day 92: April Fools Day!

I'm now convinced that April Fool's Day is my lucky day. back in 2009, I received an email saying I had one a iPod touch. It was from CafeMom, I gave my address, and it said it could take a few weeks. I'll believe it when I see it, I said. Well, a few weeks later, an iPod touch arrived in the mail!!! Holy crap, it wasn't a joke! While in town we stopped at McDonalds, and our order was taking a few minutes. They apologized for the wait, and said we got a free meal next time we stop in.I decided to get a lotto ticket today, just a $2-$3 one. Scratched it off later, and won $15!! I NEVER win at these damn things, especially the Bingo ones. I hope next April Fools Day is even better!!

Day 91: Chinese!!

Oh boy! I got my appetite back today, and ate SO much Chinese food. Sweet, & sour chicken, & shrimp, fried rice, white rice, sesame beef, egg rolls. It was all so good! The response Frank got when he told me I could have his egg roll. Hahahaha!! I found a heart in my sweet & sour shrimp! And I even saw the Bat signal on my floor.....Send more Chinese food. LOL

Day 90: Painting

Kwintyn got some paint stuff for Christmas, and we kept forgetting to paint something. So we bought a few more canvases, paint, and brushes so we could have something fun to do on Spring break. We painted a Minecraft picture of Steve...well, I did! Kwin painted his own version of Minecraft, and it's cute. I did a mosaic pattern with tape for Chelsea to paint. I still have my own canvas to paint still. Painting looks hard, too. I'm reading about blending, and stuff. LOL! Maybe I will just some stencils and just make a sign.

Day 89: Fresh Pearls

I ordered some make-up from a friend, and she also does pearl parties, and she included some pearls if you bought a certain amount. I got 3, oysters and Frank opened them up for me. I'm not great with knifes, or sharp objects. They have this weird smell. I thought they would smell fishy, but it's a smell I don't even know. haha! They are kinda gross when you do get them open, but finding the pearl is so cool! I was hoping to get a black pearl, Chelsea got 2, dark ones!! Chelsea is good friends with her daughter, and they were so sweet and let her have a few.  But the ones I got are beautiful, too. I got a white one, and 2, pink ones. She also included a necklace, and a beautiful bird pendant so you can put the pearl inside. I also found a heart in the snow today!

Day 88: Feel the Burn!

Ugh!! Ever since I had that endoscopy done I have had heartburn!!! If it's not the heartburn, it's Larry the lump, that is back in my throat again. Been drinking more water! LOL! They kept asking me before & after the endoscope if I had acid relax, or heartburn, and I kept saying, no! What did they do?! haha! :P I did look up silent reflux, and this popped up. Hmmm....Barretts was mentioned and this picture shows where I was complaint about. I never thought heartburn or acid relax could cause pain/nausea here. Every morning I have this problem, ugh.

Day 87: Oh Bother!!

I'm not doing so hot this week. Kids are on Spring break this week, so maybe that's why things are hectic this week?! lol

Day 86: Nothing!!

Got nothing today. Well, I just forgot about my pic of the day.

Day 85: Leaf Me be!

Found this leaf that looked like a heart today. And there is a heart on the leaf, too! <3

Day 84: Nadda

Didn't get a pic of the day....oops!
